Interfere in a case in which some Machinery belonging to an Annamese man of war has been attached at the suit of Messrs Landstein Ober & The Riske of Muram.
Gives opinion that in view of the legal questions that are likely to arise out of the case, the interference of the French would be most undesirable.
18 day of 1st month of 20th Year of Complains that Annamese Officers have secretly and entirely on their own account been contracting a Freight Agreement with Messrs Landstein & Co.,
for which it is now sought to render the Annamese Government, which knows nothing about it, responsible.
